Situated in the [[geography:Skylands]] above the [[geography:Elemental Wastes|The Elemental Wastes]], Rurua is effectively an area of bridged and close floating skylands. Smaller airships are commonly flying around this great city. Said to be founded by [[pantheon:deity:loumos|]].

==== Background ====
When one first lands in Rurua, one might think that it is impossible for a Float Crystal of this size to exist. One would be right. Rurua consists of many different Skylands connected to each other with sturdy bridges. There are several very big Skylands that contain some of the core ammenities of the city. The Skylands on the outskirts are connected with bridges that can be decoupled, allowing them to easily detach and float away.
