Born in Borunoa. Abandoned at a fungril village in the swamps. There, he was taken care of by the fungril Loprina Sonomyces.

At a young age he was showing his water elemental magic prowess, by flooding the kitchen with water. When Pharos Pharao passed the village, Loprina asked this great sorcerer to take over raising him. Pharos agreed and stayed in the village while training him.

When he was 9 years Pharos and him, fought Bromi Plectospor, a fungril that was causing death and destruction, in order to make more fungi grow. Bromi, however, managed to escape that fight and is currently unknown. This led to Ribby strongly wanting to protect nature against people like Bromi. This also caused Pharos to decide it was time to leave the village.

Travelling through the underground, one year later, they arrived at Iaras. There his believe in protecting nature was strengthened when he met Yarbul Bramblewood. Yarbul introduced him to the_treant_s_roots. Yarbul travelled with them for a couple years.

When Ribby was 16, they fought a Wild Colossus with many others. This collosus was an arachnid, with massive jaws, poison spit and many many spiderlings. During this battle, Yarbul lost an arm and an ear. This caused Yarbul to retire from travelling. Many others lost their life. Ribby, who had fought mostly from the backline, had never seen this much death and destruction.

Three years later, when Ribby was 19, his travelling group encountered a Lich. The group proved to be no match for this strong being. In a last effort to protect his travelling partners, Pharos used magic to teleport the others away. The last thing Ribby saw of his mentor in the magics was him being engulfed by the flames of a massive fireball.
