Cobalt was born and raised in a small village near the edge of the Elderwood Forest. His mother, Kalla, ran an inn there, catering to the many adventurers that venture into the wood's vast depths seeking treasure. He never knew his biological father, though according to his mother, he was an adventurer of some sort that stayed at her in a few times.
Growing up, Cobalt was a curious child always trying to find the why behind anything that he encountered, a trait he's retained into adulthood. Due to his mother's fairly busy working schedule, it would be fair to say that he was raised by the whole village, even picking up some survivalist skills from the local guide.
